Locid Tablets (60Tabs) (Dr Vasisth's)

Multi‐drug ayurvedic formulation that helps in the management of APD, pancreatitis, liver disorders, and allergic disorders.

Ingredients in LOCID Tablet act as: • Lowers gastric acid production (amlapitta‐hara) • Neutralizes excessive gastric acid (amlata‐hara) • Reinforces gastric mucosal barrier (kapha‐vardhaka) • Promotes ulcer healing (vrana‐ropaka) • Reinforces peristaltic movements (chhardi‐hara, udavarta‐hara) • Corrects pancreatic disorders ‐inhibits trypsin (jathar‐agni‐shamaka) • Anti‐allergic (asatmyata‐hara) Dosage: • Adults: Initial dose – – Acute / severe conditions ‐ 2 tabs stat, followed by 1‐2 tabs, every 2‐3 hours, until relief in the symptoms or a maximum of 12 tablets in 24 hours; – Chronic / mild conditions ‐ 2 tabs tid.. Maintenance dose – 1 tab once / twice a day. • Children (6‐9 yrs): 1⁄4‐1⁄2 of the adult dose. • To be taken just after meals.
